Bomb Story: Every generation has its own ""streetwear"". In the '90s, streetwear was propelled by artist-driven T-shirt labels, independent skate companies, and urban brands in the mainstream. The '80s version of streetwear was arguably independent surf designers like T&C Surf, Maui and Sons, and Gotcha. The Shattered Adam is in the spirit of a surf T-shirt brand of the era.| Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
