Bomb Story: For a number of years, The Hundreds compiled a collection exclusively for Hawaiian retail partners, entitled The Hundreds Hawaii. Often, the T-shirt graphics were parodies of local island properties, such as Leonard's Malasadas. Shave Ice Adam is a play on a local shave (not shaved!) ice spot that locals and tourists love alike. | Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
