The reprographic technique of half-toning has been popular throughout various generations of art, from the early screen-printing and lithographs of Warhol to the Photoshop edits of early-2000s streetwear. Half-toning was a convenient solution for many designers who were utilizing low-resolution online photographs to stretch across T-shirts. Instead of getting a pixelated result, a halftone filter broke a blurry photo into thousands of sharp, focused dots.| Background Story: Watercolor Camo is a unique camouflage pattern that blends both Woodland shapes and the Rain pattern. Military camouflage is intended for warfare and survival, so the objective was to find a beautiful and artistic execution. The watercolored application in gold and purple is subversive and yet, still very much effective.
