The message was both literal and metaphorical in commenting on race relations in America and how we embrace diversity in our communities.| Background Story: At the time, it was popular for repeating prints like these on button-up woven shirts to be emblazoned with bright, cheerful flowers. The contrarians that we are, we wished to see nature in decay against a merciless climate crisis. The flowers are withering and the result was sobering.
