Bomb Story: Bobby learned how to draw by reading Garfield comics. His childhood bedroom was adorned with Garfield licensed home goods and stationery supplies. When asked what his favorite collaboration was, Bobby usually says Jim Davis and Garfield. There are so many parallels between the enterprises we built (his on a much larger scale). For one, Garfield is a story about a man and his pet cat. Likewise, The Hundreds has a lot to do with Bobby's (and Ben's) relationship with Adam Bomb (plus, Adam never speaks!). Friend Adam is a version of our mascot if he were to have guested on the '80s Saturday morning cartoon, Garfield and Friends.| Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
