Bomb Story: Bobby learned how to draw by reading Garfield comics. His childhood bedroom was adorned with Garfield licensed home goods and stationery supplies. When asked what his favorite collaboration was, Bobby usually says Jim Davis and Garfield. There are so many parallels between the enterprises we built (his on a much larger scale). For one, Garfield is a story about a man and his pet cat. Likewise, The Hundreds has a lot to do with Bobby's (and Ben's) relationship with Adam Bomb (plus, Adam never speaks!). Friend Adam is a version of our mascot if he were to have guested on the '80s Saturday morning cartoon, Garfield and Friends.| Background Story: Hawaii is like a second home to Bobby Hundreds, as he has relatives on the islands and is a frequent visitor. We also used to run a The Hundreds Hawaii program, featuring designs and collections that were made exclusive to Hawaiian retailers. Our Hawaiian patterns are a nod to the classical Aloha shirt, but there's also always a personalized twist that is very much The Hundreds and essentially Los Angeles.
