Bomb Story: As most artists can attest to, lined notebooks were used more for doodling and daydreaming than actual schoolwork. The original Notebook Adam was created on blue-lined paper to reflect their youth, but this one is a nod to Ben's and Bobby's time in law school. Graphite on yellow, legal-lined paper.| Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
