Bomb Story: In the beginning, The Hundreds was inspired by nostalgic experiences and childhood, so often you'll see references to pop culture artifacts. This pattern is borrowed from the waxy, vintage candy packaging of the period.| Background Story: Quite prescient, the Crowds pattern was designed years before the rallies, protests, and riots of the last couple years. Disenchanted by the ""slacktivist"" generation, we were hopeful for a new class of youth who were galvanized to fight for themselves and fight for others. Crowds are comprised of an uprising. It also refers back to The Hundreds itself, a name that stands for a community in movement.
