Half-toning was a convenient solution for many designers who were utilizing low-resolution online photographs to stretch across T-shirts. Instead of getting a pixelated result, a halftone filter broke a blurry photo into thousands of sharp, focused dots.| Background Story: Coinciding with the birth of the Internet in the late 1990s, Digital (or Digi) camouflages were invented by the Canadian Forces.
