Bomb Story: Adam has always had such a family-friendly tone, we wanted to subvert our own brand and envision what he'd look like gory. Gross Out Adam was originally illustrated facing to the left, but keeping in uniformity with Bomb Squad, we turned him the opposite way.| Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
