Bomb Story: Live Adam is a fluorescent gradient Adam that is reminiscent of the split-fountain inking posters popularized in the 1960s live music scene. They were later adopted and mastered by artists like Craig Stecyk. This one, in particular, was based on a concert poster that was hanging off the freeway off-ramp and inspired the street-posting campaigns from The Hundreds' early marketing campaigns. Very Los Angeles!| Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
