Bomb Story: Bobby learned how to draw by reading Garfield comics. His childhood bedroom was adorned with Garfield licensed home goods and stationery supplies. When asked what his favorite collaboration was, Bobby usually says Jim Davis and Garfield. There are so many parallels between the enterprises we built (his on a much larger scale). For one, Garfield is a story about a man and his pet cat. Likewise, The Hundreds has a lot to do with Bobby's (and Ben's) relationship with Adam Bomb (plus, Adam never speaks!). Friend Adam is a version of our mascot if he were to have guested on the '80s Saturday morning cartoon, Garfield and Friends.| Background Story: At the time, it was popular for repeating prints like these on button-up woven shirts to be emblazoned with bright, cheerful flowers. The contrarians that we are, we wished to see nature in decay against a merciless climate crisis. The flowers are withering and the result was sobering.
