Bomb Story: In drawing inspiration for The Hundreds, we seek out nostalgia over contemporary influences. One of our taglines is, ""Looking Back, Moving Forward."" The half-tone effect on Adam Bomb hearkens back to the reprographic printing technique that preceded the digital age.| Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
