Bomb Story: There are a few half-toned Adam Bombs in the Squad, but this was one of the first. The reprographic technique of half-toning has been popular throughout various generations of art, from the early screen-printing and lithographs of Warhol to the Photoshop edits of early-2000s streetwear. Half-toning was a convenient solution for many designers who were utilizing low-resolution online photographs to stretch across T-shirts. Instead of getting a pixelated result, a halftone filter broke a blurry photo into thousands of sharp, focused dots.| Background Story: The Brush camouflage was one of the earliest camos. Created by the British Ministry of Defense, we were drawn to Brush camo because of its allusion to painting and making art. There was this dichotomy between creation and destruction that underlined the pattern and it stands as one of our favorite camos we've ever designed.
