Bomb Story: There are a few half-toned Adam Bombs in the Squad, but this was one of the first. The reprographic technique of half-toning has been popular throughout various generations of art, from the early screen-printing and lithographs of Warhol to the Photoshop edits of early-2000s streetwear. Half-toning was a convenient solution for many designers who were utilizing low-resolution online photographs to stretch across T-shirts. Instead of getting a pixelated result, a halftone filter broke a blurry photo into thousands of sharp, focused dots.| Background Story: Quite prescient, the Crowds pattern was designed years before the rallies, protests, and riots of the last couple years. Disenchanted by the ""slacktivist"" generation, we were hopeful for a new class of youth who were galvanized to fight for themselves and fight for others. Crowds are comprised of an uprising. It also refers back to The Hundreds itself, a name that stands for a community in movement.
