
Bomb Story: There are a few half-toned Adam Bombs in the Squad, but this was one of the first. The reprographic technique of half-toning has been popular throughout various generations of art, from the early screen-printing and lithographs of Warhol to the Photoshop edits of early-2000s streetwear. Half-toning was a convenient solution for many designers who were utilizing low-resolution online photographs to stretch across T-shirts. Instead of getting a pixelated result, a halftone filter broke a blurry photo into thousands of sharp, focused dots.| Background Story: Tiger Stripe Camouflage was born in the Vietnam War and to this day, it holds as one of our favorite base camos to manipulate. With Palm Camo, we looked at the tiger stripes as Californian terrain, adding elements like palm trees to accentuate the shapes as land and ocean water.
