Bomb Story: In the middle of the pandemic, we couldn't sell enough jigsaw puzzles. It seemed like the entire world had delved into the art of baking banana bread, tie-dying sweats, and working on 1,000-piece puzzles to pass the lockdown. Puzzle Adam is dedicated to this strange season of our lives, but was initially introduced in the Spring of 2011. | Background Story: Known as ""Chocolate Chip"" camouflage by the U.S. military, this pattern was developed in the 1970s to resemble the California desert-scape. We wanted to own this one since we are a West Coast brand. But, also because Chocolate Chip camo was popularized in our teenage era of the Persian Gulf war. Desert Camo literalized the earth and rocks through photorealistic representations, as opposed to the traditional illustrations.
