The '80s version of streetwear was arguably independent surf designers like T&C Surf, Maui and Sons, and Gotcha. The Shades Adam is in the spirit of a surf T-shirt brand of the era.| Background Story: Long before high-end streetwear designers were collaborating with fashion houses, The Hundreds designed a giveaway bandana screen-printed with a parody of the iconic monogram pattern. The letters have been flipped to “LA” to reference Los Angeles. And the circles are Solid Bombs. Bobby initially designed this repeating print as a desktop wallpaper and then it was used on an unreleased Married to the Mob T-shirt as well.
