A 1945 "Victory Vintage" from the Pauillac commune within the Médoc appellation of Bordeaux. This second growth wine was originally seen as lesser on release but due to the original artist produced label became a cult classic quickly. Notes of black currant, violet, plum, bay leaf, cedar, wet leaves and leather come together to create a bold but well balanced wine with soft tannins and a long finish.
