A 2011 old vine Malbec from the Perdriel area in the Mendoza wine region of Argentina. This Malbec was traditionally and organically farmed and harvested from century old, low yield vines that speak of the classic Argentinian terroir which Malbec so beautifully highlights. This wine is a cult favourite due to its incredible complexity but refined approachability. This wine is deep violet in colour and has aromas of black cherry, blueberry, sweet tobacco, baking spices and hints of Andean herbs such as jarilla and yerba maté. Full on the palate but brightly fruit forward, with velvety, soft tannins makes this wine a delight to drink. Sweetness: dry Acidity: medium Tannin: medium Alcohol: high Body: medium-plus
