According to legend, the first iris bloomed millions of years ago and was so beautiful that not only animals, birds, and insects came to admire it, but also water and wind, which then scattered the ripened seeds all over the earth. When the seeds sprouted and bloomed, the iris became one of humanity's favorite plants. That's why it has attracted artists throughout the ages. There is another legend: when the titan Prometheus stole the heavenly fire from Olympus and gave it to humans, a wondrous rainbow of seven colors lit up on earth - such was the joy of all living things in the world. The sunset had already passed, the day had faded, and the sun had gone, but the rainbow continued to shine over the world, giving people hope. It did not fade until the very dawn. And when the sun returned to its place in the morning, where the magical rainbow had burned and shimmered with colors, the irises bloomed.
