In a segment of my MFA thesis exhibition titled: “Anticipating the State of Despair” I contacted 50 + art dealers, curators, critics, museums, institutions, private and corporate collectors, etc., etc., offering them the chance to buy a part —or all— of my student debt. Each envelope contained a letter enunciating details, a breakdown of my student loans and a forged NSCAD MFA degree. Here is a digital limited edition of the work.
