“Tokyo Rhapsody of Sex” is my first photography project commencing from 2011. I follow the footsteps of Daido Moriyama in exploration of Tokyo. Tokyo is the most famous city in Asia, what hides beneath is the most primitive human desire- sex. But sex absurdly becomes erotic culture as a result of the constraint nature of Japanese ethnicity. In this city filled with dark and deep desire, I withhold my urgent needs for erotic dependence, explore Tokyo, and try to transform the Tokyo I see into a black rhapsody of sex in Tokyo.
