He was formerly named Tom and was one of the pilots. He suffered an accident in one of the test missions, but they managed to rescue his brain. He was very dear to his companions and they saved him by replacing his body with that of a droid. When he woke up, he named himself Nitrox, proud of the great deed of his comrades. Now he lives with more humor than ever, saying he feels like R2-D2.
