CryptoPortrait of CryptoTwitter´s favorite bidder Brooke Lampley and Vitalik Buterin pumping ETH! Sotheby’s sold a rare copy of the United States constitution for $43 million, making it one of the most expensive historic documents ever to be sold at auction. Two bidders on the phone with Sotheby’s chairman Brooke Lampley and David Schrader, Sotheby’s head of private sales, competed for the edition. A group of crypto investors organized under the name Constitution DAO raised a fund in hopes of purchasing the constitution, planning to partner with an organization to display it. The group issued a statement following the sale confirming it was outbid. The identity of the winning bidder was not immediately clear, perhaps the misterious buyer was Vitalik? LOL! ETH was one of the currencies displayed during Sothebys auction.
