During school, we would often make collages from old magazines - National Geographic was a source material that was used frequently. My dad would also collect National Geographic magazines from garage sales and library sales to use them for his own collage art. As a teenager and young adult, I started to become super interested in punk zines from the 80’s and 90’s - I love the visual grit, the xeroxed prints and overall nature of the art and literature. I wanted to combine both of these textures into this piece - my love for beautiful National Geographic images like the Grand Canyon, mixed with my love for punk zines.Made with love using Neural FramesMusic by: Z.F.
