The invention and growth of the traveling carnival occurred during the Dust Bowl and Depression years, as people longed for an escape or compelling distraction from their difficulties.This video continues my experiment with synthesis/contrast of various dialectics, such as the cosmic and the personal, the extraordinary and the everyday, the time-bound and the timeless.I try to use dialectics and the metaphor of disasters and/or conflict to express psychological and emotional processes.Sound design by Barbara Chira.
