"On These Streets" is the video that bridges the still image series of the same name with the OTS Mixtape, and that brings us into a moving world that is at one time familiar and absurd. Entirely artificial images put us in a state of warm nostalgia for a time that was, even though maybe it wasn't exactly like this, proving that AI is a memory machine rather than a form of intelligence. From a technical point of view, "On These Streets" aimed at recreating the same feeling and aesthetics of the still image series while using an entirely different tool. All clips have been created through text-to-video (no img-to-video), requiring a whole different workflow, with the objective of achieving a platform-independent aesthetic.OTS Mixtape is a video companion to the series "On These Streets", and it's meant as an immersive device to relive those times.
