This piece is an exploration of the unconscious and horror through the metaphor of white sharks. Using AI to create video clips in Runway from my Midjourney and Dalle AI images, I transformed these deep-sea creatures into pets, spouses, and fathers. As many of us have learned the hard way, violence frequently occurs in the home. With this video, I aim to bring to the surface what is usually hidden in a dreamlike, nightmarish landscape.In this piece, I've blended clips of found sounds to further the narrative. This includes the Jaws soundtrack played in reverse, YouTube clips of people shouting from shore while recording a real white shark attack, and the sound of fire.
