In this video I explore these plastic-y characters with distorted faces and bodies as their hands gesture deep in conversation and thought. For the soundtrack I used clips from 'Keeping up with the Kardashians' to emphasize a sort of illegible chatter paired with the ballooning mouths to emphasize the farcical, but there is a subtext. At one point a character holds up her hands in the protest gesture used against police brutality and looks at the viewer. Do not be lulled asleep by capitalism... stay woke. Sound design by Jess Mac.
