This piece is an experimental addition to the Chronosynthesis series. ‘Chronosynthesis’ is a collection of AI videos touching on philosophical and existential themes. In creating the work, I reverted to an AI model I began working with in 2021. Through the altering of the genetic makeup of imagery, a series of uncanny images that challenge our perception of the familiar emerge. This deconstruction and reassembling of the images unearth hidden layers and patterns, shifting the ordinary to the unexpected. Sound design by Katie Morris
