Skin Theory,' is an AI video artwork in which the boundaries of form and perception dissolve into a fluid transformation. The piece invites viewers to traverse the liminal spaces between being and becoming. 3D objects shed their natural forms only to adopt new ones in a seamless flow, challenging our notions of permanence and identity. Each transformation is a contemplative musing, a perpetual evolution of the transient skins we inhabit, both physical and metaphysical. This morphing symbolises the fluid nature of identity, constantly reshaped by time, emotion, experience, and the unseen forces that sculpt our being. The work delves into the philosophical underpinnings of 'skin' not just as a physical boundary but as a metaphorical canvas, recording and releasing the imprints of both our past and present selves.
