An interesting part of the process of making these video’s is that the AI we work with to create the videos constantly breaks and needs fixing. To me it is a manifest of the rudimentary of the model. It’s a new, unexplored territory and with time the model evolves and grows. It makes it also a bit exciting (to put in positive words) because sometimes you just don’t seem to get it to work and you have to message the creator of the model for a bit of assistance. Once it works it feels like you have overcome something and are being rewarded for your patience and hard work. The generation of the video’s also takes a long time (15 seconds per frame) which also makes it very exciting to see, after all the waiting, what the machine came up with. It sometimes feels like opening up a present to me.
