Auntie Party' is an AI film created in honour of an AI art community gathering organised by fellow artist Jupiter Fong. The event, aimed at celebrating AAPI Heritage Month in May 2023, invited artists through an open call on Instagram to produce art with a mermaid-themed, glamorous party motif. Embracing the theme, aunties participated wholeheartedly, arriving at the seaside bash in Malibu beach decked out in extravagant outfits. The film captures them enjoying the festivities from dusk till dawn, embodying the spirit of camaraderie and revelry, showcasing aunties indulging in what they do best: having a splendid time and partying exuberantly with friends.
