Anti-mimesis says that Life imitates art(opposite to the more common statement that Art imitates life) and Ersatz means: "made or used as a substitute, typically an inferior one, for something else" thus perfectly questioning the validity of copycat art and AI and further more implies that life itself is made of copies by copying art. Inspired by comments and rants online that are against AI art. Again I like the video to in a way present both sides and ask what exactly is the message. As a former illustrator I have mixed feelings about AI art but at the same time I love it. Can AI art have the emotion, can an AI artist "spill their guts" through AI even though its created by compiling and recompiling pieces of stolen art to the point that it reaches an almost flat state of Hypercommercialization?Original by Pancakepie360
