This body of work represents the illusive qualities of the dream realm - how our hallucinogenic surroundings can disperse and transform at a glance and take us through an unpredictable journey of illogic randomness as our subconscious feeds us subliminal messages of our fears, desires and everything in between. This gentle yet intriguing excerpt of ‘inter-illogic’ transports the observer into a realm of innocence, curiosity and simpler times. Focusing on the recollection of dreaming through the eyes of a child, I intended to regenerate those memories, feelings, and experiences through scenes of pastel hues and playful backdrops. The continuous appearance of stars in this piece, symbolises the dangling toy stars often attached to a baby's crib mobile - which also correlates to the soothing twinkling sounds that chime throughout the video.Sound design by Dio / Belowsubconscious
