The Baseball bat fascinated me as an object, it is so simple yet so primal going back all the way to humans inventing a spear to hunt. Yet still to this day it covers a broad spectrum of our history. Not only we see it in sports culture but also in gang culture and it is still used as a weapon. Same concept same material still in 2024. This artwork also contains one of my favorite shots generated via text to video and the second occasion of seeing a human form interacting with an [ OBJECT ] the ball hitting slow motion shot. I left it as the AI generated it, I felt it was perfect to balance the extreme close up shots. Sound design by ORGNLPLN
