Luminosa Floribunda, from Latin luminosa (luminous) and floribunda (abundant flowering), is a bioluminescent plant in the Aurelia Petalina cluster. It features ruffled ovate petals with a gradient from deep crimson to near black, edged by crystalline glandular trichomes. Centrally, vibrant orange stamens are surrounded by multiple undulating petals with vesicle-like blue-green bioluminescent droplets (450-495 nm). Leaves likely show scaled venation typical of the cluster. The slender herbaceous stem reaches 15-30 cm and 0-15 g. Luciferase pathways mediate bioluminescence at petal margins, attracting nocturnal pollinators like moths. Native to tropical rainforest understories, it thrives in shaded, humid 15-30°C environments. Endangered within its genus of 10 species, L. Floribunda is vital for nocturnal pollination and requires conservation.
