Luminiflora Spectra, from Latin 'lumen' (light) and 'flora' (flower), is a rare, stable bioluminescent species in the Prismatica Lumina cluster. It features translucent, undulate, radially symmetrical petals with delicate veins and pink bioluminescent speckles near the corolla and reproductive organs. Petals are elongated, narrow, and gently curled, supported by a slender, flexible stem 15-30 cm tall and narrow lanceolate leaves. Bioluminescence, primarily in petal epidermis and filamentous stamens, peaks in the blue spectrum (450-495nm), likely via a luciferin-luciferase reaction, adapted to low-light tropical cave systems at 15-25°C. Nocturnal blooming attracts cave moths and beetles. Taxonomically in Prismataceae, genus Luminiflora, it aids nutrient cycles and pollination while deterring herbivory through visual cues.
