Phosphorae Florae Radiance, from Latin for 'bearer of light' and 'flower,' is a specialized bioluminescent flowering plant within the Nebulorb Gloriosa cluster. This rare, stable species includes five known members, growing 10-25 cm tall and weighing 15-50 g. It has multiple translucent petals arranged radially around vibrant orange anthers and elongated stamens. Petals feature smooth, undulating margins with detailed venation and a blue-green gradient scattered with orange luminescent specks. Semi-transparent stems allow mild swaying in air currents. Bioluminescence occurs in petal tissues, emitting 420-490 nm light (blue-cyan), likely attracting nocturnal pollinators. Adapted to cool tropical rainforest understory (10-20°C), this species supports crepuscular insects, enhancing nocturnal pollination and ecosystem biodiversity.
