Floraluminis Stellaris, named from Latin 'flora' (flower), 'luminis' (light), and 'stellaris' (star-like), is a bioluminescent plant of the Noctiflorae Phantasm cluster. It features delicate, translucent orange petals in loose spiral whorls on slender, flexible stems, with glowing speckles from photogenic cells. Leaves are broad with a faint turquoise tint contrasting the vibrant floral glow. Its bioluminescence emits 420-490 nm blue-green light via luciferin-based reactions in epidermal and petal tissues. Native to humid tropical rainforest canopies (15-30°C), it grows 10-25 cm tall, weighs up to 15 g, and requires moist, aerated microhabitats. As an endangered species, it belongs to a family with nocturnal flowering and specialized pollination by nocturnal insects attracted to its luminous signals, playing a key ecological role in canopy biodiversity.
