Luminflora Celestis, named for its light-emitting flowers and celestial appearance, is a rare bioluminescent species in the Lunar Spectra cluster. This small plant (10-30 cm, 15-50 g) has semi-translucent, ruffled petals displaying dual luminescence, with ethereal blue to fiery orange-red hues concentrated on lower petals. Vein-like patterns enhance glow via a luciferin-luciferase mechanism, emitting light mainly at 470-530 nm. Its slender stem supports ornate flower clusters that sway gently in tropical rainforest understories. Preferring cool microclimates (5-20°C), its soft bioluminescence aids nocturnal visibility and attracts moths for pollination. Classified in Celestaceae, genus Luminflora, it comprises 10 species, playing a critical role in understory biodiversity.
