Radiantum Florealis Phosphora, meaning 'radiant floral light bearer,' is a rare bioluminescent plant in the Luminous Glacies cluster. Standing 10-25 cm tall and weighing 15-50 g, it features large, undulating flowers with ruffled, translucent petals in icy blues to soft oranges, adorned with golden pollen specks. Its aquatic-like membranous petals exhibit blue-green bioluminescence (420-490 nm), concentrated in petal edges and veins, emitting a soft glow for nocturnal pollinator attraction in tropical rainforest canopies. Thriving at 0-10°C in elevated cooler microclimates, it supports efficient night pollination via elongated reproductive structures. Belonging to a genus of ~100 bioluminescent species, R. Florealis Phosphora enhances genetic diversity through synchronized nocturnal visual cues.
