This artwork is a unique digital version of an Abstract Frame from my Torqued Painting series. The series began in 1998 and has continued to develop over time exploring different shapes, sizes, materials and processes. This digital work was inspired by a series of silkscreen prints completed in 2016. Digital Lipstick (AF) started as a IRL drawing using lipstick as a painting medium, to experiment with different materials and surface textures. The drawing was then photographed and touched up in Lightroom and Photoshop. This piece will be available as a small edition and marks a further evolution of my art practice into the digital realm.
