This is the ninth in a series of 10 IRL paintings I am recreating digitally for the Alpha series of the ART_DIGITIZED collection. The Alpha series primarily focuses on the color and texture of the original painting. The goal from there is to "translate" my what is done with a brush to vector shapes and shading. --- With Side-Eye I wanted to play with using the edge of the canvas as part of the focal point. On the original painting the pupil is mostly one the edge, only being seen at an angle. This also marks my many eye themed painting and sketches. --- Not all IRL versions will be raffled to holders!
