"Beautiful Japan" #2 This photo was taken in Japan. Gifu Castle is a Japanese castle known to have been ruled by the famous Nobunaga Oda. It is located at the top of a 329-meter-high mountain called Mt. Kinkazan, and can be seen from anywhere on the ground in the vicinity. This photo was taken on October 8, 2014. It was a total lunar eclipse, and I calculated the time when the moon's orbit would be in the background of the castle, and took this photo with a telephoto lens from a distance of about 2 km from the castle. Of course, no composite was used. This photo is so rare that I'm the only one who has succeeded in capturing it so far. Image Size : 8434 x 5622
