I try to create something new for Halloween every year. My fans have come to anticipate it and the season is rife with interesting symbolism to explore. I don't always like to stick with the usual ghosts and jack-o-lanterns though. Sometimes I like to get a bit esoteric and I think those are usually the best wallpapers. I like that those renders can be used all year and not just the last two weeks of October. This piece was inspired by an H.P. Lovecraft story that I read a long long time ago (so long ago I don't recall the title). In the story a traveler in the woods comes across an entrance to Hell. Some folks might expect orange for the color of hell but I thought that would look too inviting so I chose eldritch green. I did add a black cat though because this is a Halloween render after all.
