Concept: In a world made of floating ruins, there’s only one survivor. They call her Nature… Story: This photo was made in the famous and unique Palafite Pier in Carrasqueira, Portugal. Palafite construction is composed of a floating wooden structure, used by the fishermen to anchor their boats. The pier has been slowly eroding over the years, to this specific part no longer exists, making this image unrepeatable.
