Aerial capture of one of the Henningsvær Football Stadiums in the Lofoten Islands of Norway. This prominent field is nestled along the coastline of the Lofoten Islands in a small fishing village (Henningsvær) with approximately 500 inhabitants and overlooking the Norwegian Sea - very close to the Arctic Circle. At the time, I was capturing aerial images in the area and didn’t know I would discover this stadium when taking off with my drone. To my surprise I found this striking pitch surrounded by water and mountains. At the time (2017), this POV was relatively unseen and this image was soon voted to the front page of reddit, followed by features in digital and print football publications around the world leading up to World Cup in 2018.
