In Greek Mythology, often mentioned are the origins of the sky, earth, elements, gods, and nature. The primordial being of the sky, Ouranos, was betrayed by his own son, Kronos, under his wife Gaia's command, and chopped to bits so he could no longer reside in a physical form. The blood, or "ichor" that flowed from his dismembered body spread into the sea & land, leading to the creation of many new animals, species, and even the goddess of beauty herself, Aphrodite. Even from the worst of occurrences, grace may befall the new age.
